"We came here as it was close to our air BnB and I’m so glad we did!! Authentic family run business full of locals … the tortellini was best I’ve had on my trip so far! Also need to shout out it is excellent for gluten free … they cooked my husbands seafood in a separate fryer and it meant he got to try fried seafood which he didn’t think he would in Italy! The tiramisu is also gluten free!!!! Excellent! And the spinach was best we’ve had so garlicky and delicious!!!"

"We’ve had a lovely stay in restaurant Dabarba Lungarno in Florence. The drinks (non alcoholic Aperol Spritz) and food were delicious! The waiter Arafat was very friendly and hospital. Next to the restaurant they have a shop OBO with all own design products! A recommendation to all of you!"

"Local restaurant, with freshly prepared food. The hosting was excellent. We had the seafood pasta and braised veal with spinach, which were amazing. Selection of wines and sat out in the sun early evening was magical."

"I have been to Ristorante Da Barba Lungarno several times with my husband, and every visit feels like a perfect evening. The restaurant has a refined and elegant indoor space, but what makes it truly special are the two outdoor areas. One of them, right on the Lungarno Corsini, offers a breathtaking view over the Santo Spirito neighborhood and the dome of San Frediano in Cestello — absolutely magical, especially at sunset. Francesco, the ever-present owner, is a real host in the old-fashioned sense: attentive with great recommendations, and discreet enough to vanish when you want privacy. The wine list is a delight — not just the usual big names, but a curated selection of excellent boutique labels, handpicked by Francesco himself. And yes, they’re all truly worth trying. The menu strikes a perfect balance between land and sea. We’ve had the sea bass with caponata and the braised beef cheek — both beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The clientele is a vibrant mix: locals, Florence-based expats, and the occasional lucky tourist. It’s not unusual for conversations to drift from table to table in a patchwork of different languages — new friendships are almost guaranteed. If you're looking for an authentic, warm, and quietly elegant dining experience in Florence, this is the place. Highly recommended."

"One of our favorite restaurants in Florence. All dishes are prepared with love and care; delicious in their simplicity. We always feel very welcome, and the owner always takes good care of us, and other customers. Beautiful to sit outside while enjoy the sunset. Pro tip; ask for the lobster pasta ;-)!"

"10/10 for overall food and service. This place was recommended to us and we are so glad we went. The owner was t very personable and made sure we were taken care of. The food was insane and something we will be talking about forever. The black ravioli pasta dish was unreal. The bruschetta was so fresh and delicious. You will not be disappointed if you come here!"

"The perfect final meal of an incredible trip! We had the pleasure of dining in their private courtyard and being served personally by Francesco, his lovely wife and incredible staff. Every single dish was prepared with love and was truly the cherry on top of this entire trip. I can't wait to go back someday! Thank you Francesco and all for such an amazing evening!"
